Marinette CTY BOARD 1Accusations of governmental corruption, greed, and a watered-down resolution are just some of the many remarks made MCTB 2to the Menominee County Board during public comment at last night’s board meeting.

Board member Steve Gromala says he would like to see stronger language in their resolution.

Board member Larry Phelps says he’s not even seeing ten-percent of the people supporting the mine.

The Menominee County Board moved the resolution forward for further discussion regarding the proposed sulfide mine and should be addressed at their next County Board meeting in two-weeks.
