At last night’s City of Menominee Council Meeting several men and women took turns speaking to the council members during the evenings public comment session. The individuals urged the Council to help the residents of Menominee by joining in their fight against the Sulfide Mine that would be placed on the edge of the Menominee River. Menominee Resident Pat Johnson says she would like the council to consider the people of Menominee and help keep their water safe.
