Old World Christmas Market moves to downtown Menominee

Old World Christmas Market is doing something new this year in Menominee – moving to downtown alongside the Downtown Holiday Open House at Great Lakes Memorial Marina Park November 17th & 18th. In its 4th year, the events will share a festive heated rectangular tent stretching from north to south in the park. Market hours are 5-8pm Friday the 17th for the holiday parade and tree lighting ceremony, and opens again 10am to 4pm Saturday the 18th. Admission is free. Inspired by European outdoor markets, experience hearty German food, mulled wine, a warming station, Christmas carols, outdoor lights and other delights to whisp you away to an old European city at Christmas time. With more time, space, and vendors, this year’s market will be the best yet. With a variety of gift and decorative items, like German Herrnhuter stars, ornaments, aprons, sweatshirts, quilts, art jewelry, Swedish-styled items, farm-fresh meats, syrups, honey, jam and of course wines. Old World Christmas Market in Menominee’s Historic Downtown District, Friday November 17th & Saturday the 18th. It’s a holiday season event not to be missed!
