Marinette Salvation Army helps Hurricane Harvey victims

The Marinette Salvation Army raised over $32,000 for the Hurricane Harvey disaster effort. In four short days area donors contributed $22,345.68 in the Red Kettles. Another $9,715.00 came in via the mail or walk-in donations. Major Carol Lemorand sends out a big thank you to those who contributed, for the volunteers who rang bells, to the managers and store staff for allowing them to make a presence for this effort. It's never too late to contribute to the Hurricane Harvey disaster and that of Hurricane Irma. 100% of the money collected goes directly to the affected area. You can go on The Salvation Army National website to see the impact of dollars raised. Every day thousands and maybe even millions of meals are being served by The Salvation Army personnel now in Texas, Florida and elsewhere.
