A Michigan Representative weighs in on the proposed Sulfide Mine.

backforty 1Bay Cities Radio recently had the pleasure of speaking exclusively with Michigan’s 108th district representative, Beau LaFave, of Iron Mountain about the proposed mine that is wanting to set up along the Menominee River in Stephenson, Michigan. LaFave says Michigan has the most stringent rules in the country when it comes to mining.

LaFave says he simply does not have the power to put a stop to the mine getting through the permit process.
