Menominee School district approves of interim superintendent

It's official--Menominee High School Principal John Mans will take over as the district's interim superintendent at the end of this school year. The temporary appointment was approved at Thursday's Menominee School Board meeting. Mans says he’s expecting a smooth transition. Mans will have the option to return to Menominee High as the principal if and when he chooses. Current Menominee Area Public Schools Superintendent Terri Mileski has announced she'll be stepping down from the position at the end of this school year. The Menominee School Board also accepted Mileski's resignation Thursday evening.
