At this week’s Marinette County Board meeting, Jamie Johnson from NEWCAP addressed the board with a proposal for Marinette County to be the lead county for the Rural Economic and area Development Initiative (READI) grant program. Johnson says there is certain programs that can come out of the READI program.
Johnson says that NEWCAP is one of only six community development agencies in the State of Wisconsin.
