Residents who live near Red Arrow Park are concerned about upgrades.

At last night’s City of Marinette Parks and Recreation Committee Meeting the committee discussed with the City’s Superintendent of Public Works, Mike Swaitnicki, what improvements need to be immediately addressed at the park. While Swaitnicki suggested new bathrooms, and upgrading the current ones, committee member Ken Keller would prefer to see a loop be constructed at the park for people to drive on. Resident Daniel Johnson says the city is trying to sneak projects in under the radar. The committee agreed that any changes to the park should have a needs assessment survey driven by the community. Until then the committee did not agree with creating a driveble loop within Red Arrow Park.
